📍 Work Location: 7000 - 113 ST, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada T6H 5T6 (Remote with occasional onsite meetings)
📅 Start Date: October 1, 2025
📅 End Date: February 9, 2026

⏱️ Daily Hours: 7.25 hours

Executive Council & Communications and Public Engagement (EC & CPE) Enhancements/Support
🔍 Scope of Work:
The Technology and Innovation team is seeking a Senior Application Developer to support and enhance applications used by Executive Council and Communications and Public Engagement. This includes both development and application maintenance support (AMS).
✅ Key Responsibilities:
Develop applications using .NET C# and Oracle PL/SQL
Build both desktop and web interfaces
Design and manage SQL databases
Secure and harden new and existing applications
Analyze business/user requirements
Create technical documentation, ERD diagrams, and system design manuals
Perform unit testing and participate in QA
Conduct corrective, preventative, and adaptive maintenance
Participate in release and iteration planning
Ensure knowledge transfer to operational teams
Communicate status, risks, and issues to management
Maintain code in source control as per GoA standards
Monitor shared inbox and provide daily application support
💻 Equipment Provided:
Government of Alberta will supply a laptop or desktop.
